As water features go, garden ponds are usually on the small end of the spectrum, and can have a fountain, waterfall, stream or combination of all three. A garden pond is typically home to some fish of the goldfish variety and a small assortment of aquatic plants. A small pump and a skimmer are usually installed with such ponds.
